Right so I've got the magazine now and read the article. Broadly speaking I'd say it shows the Excel in a very good light and I'm pleased they've mentioned in numerous places how great they are to drive ( so many previous articles I've seen haven't! ) I did really stress this point with the journalist to be fair!. A few inaccuracies which I would like to state didn't come from me, including two about my car! It's the only car made in Pacific blue and magnolia leather but with a completely black dashboard ( the dash being what makes it unique) and I actually paid 5800 for it 11 years ago - honestly guv. I think the pictures look great, the photographer was fussy ( in a good way ) and shot the car at some great angles. Shame he didn't use the beauty filter for my mugshot though

Ah! That's why it seemed better value for money! Loadsa content for the 40th birthday!

Yes, Shaun's car is a beauty and has engine mods plus the lightened flywheel, so the journos would be sampling something slightly different to a std SE.

BTW, I didn't think you looked too ugly in the pics Shaun.
