New fans and a question.
And the question ? Has anyone instaled an electric water pump, if so dose it mean stripping the internals of the mechnical pump.
The reason with this is that I would like to have the fans on a constant live [thermostaticaly switched] with the pump on the same circuit.
Any advice would be greatly apreciated.

Re: New fans and a question.
Can't give you a detailed answer atm...about to watch the last F1 highlights of the season on C4.
I've been running a Davies Craig EWP80 since around 2004. I did a write-up on it, but it may have got lost due to changes in forum version and "ownerships". I've developed the system over time (controller, and no controller versions) and have also converted to waterless coolant (about 5 years ago).
I'll get back to you when I have more time. Meanwhile, do a forum search for 'Davies Craig' just in case there is something left here on the forum. Cheers.

And I have a water pump body that has been modified to run with an electric pump if you're interested.

Thanks, guys.
Its been nearly 15 years of ownership until I've managed to get these issues sorted.

Re: New fans and a question.
You have probably already done this but make sure that sensor wire is properly secured you dont want it getting entangled with the cam belt.

I've posted a write up of the Davies Craig EWP80 water pump conversion in the upgrades and mods section.
