This tool kit came with the 82 Excel prototype I’ve just purchased, wondering if early cars came with similar.
It maybe based on a Toyota toolkit as the pliers have Toyota written on them, the spanner’s are a mix of AF and metric with some saying Heyco who are known to supply tools for Lotus tool kits. The wheel brace is the correct size for the Excel and there’s a strange little tool I have no idea what it’s for - anyone have any ideas?
The strange little tool - looks like it might be to turn or wind something?
The box looks similar to later Lotus tool kits
Does anyone recognise this toolkit?

After quite a bit of Googling it appears this might be a tool kit for a 1980’s Jaguar XJ6/12. The strange little tool is the manual winder for the sunroof. The Toyota pliers were maybe added later, so probably not original to the car?
