Replacing choke cable
I have to replace my choke cable. Is this a straightforward job or do I need to remove, or otherwise get behind, the dashboard?

Re: Replacing choke cable
You only need to remove the lowest part of the dash ( the bit with the radio and choke cable). Once radio is out, the plastic cover pulls off, then there are 6 screws holding the steel late in place. I think the centre console around the hand brake and gear lever also needs to come out first.
Tape a wire to the old cable before you pull it through the bulkhead. To help getting the new on in later.
