No - Not the underwater Excel!!!.
Came across another last night where they'd created motor homes.
Clarkson drove a sky scrapper on wheels, Hammond had a Landie and May drove this
Didn't see it all, but it looked a pretty tidy car - Until they butchered the roof and rear window.

That's an old episode, before I even got my Excel!
One thing to note about that episode - despite the inevitable quip about reliability when the car first appeared, it performed faultlessly throughout the episode. I'm guessing May went for that option on the assumption that one of the "challenges" would be a race, which he'd win by miles, but that never happened.
The car now resides for all to see at the Beaulieu Motor Museum. I'd say the benefit of the publicity this stunt bought for the Excel probably outweighs the butchering of one car. I certainly enjoy watching it.

That near side door looks a significant problem now.

Still looks better than the one on the Citroen!

Not so bothered about the Citroen car, but they have wrecked a pair of perfectly salvageable door mirrors there!!

.Is it on the register? Last MOT 2010 SORN
It's on the register, but until now wasn't identified as the Top Gear car.
E112& E114 ONG were on, so I tried a blind shot on the MOT site and found it a year or so ago.
