Derek
This thread has all you need to know about wiper removal and replacement. I found the worst part was releasing the nut which holds the wiper spindle in place below the screen, and getting it back in place once the motor had been repaired. Decent cord to guide it back works. with luck a couple of hours to remove fix and replace.

Can anyone help getting this link to work. No 10 year old around.

oh and you have to take the dash out to release the steady bracket bolts which are behind a little metal plate self tappered to the bulkhead... not a fun job!...

Window wiper
After a period of rain ex I decided after getting stuck in a monsoon on Skye that I would change the wipe
I have a wiper at gearbox from lotus bits
Yesterday evening, dashboard out to find still can’t get at wiper box bolts
So do I have to take the glove box out or the entire dashboard?

the whole lot... you need to get to the steel panel in the centre of the bulkhead... you might do it by just sliding the dash forward if the selftappers come out...
