I am preparing to ship my Excel over the pond to the US in about a month, and looking over the paperwork, it looks like they will only replace at NADA book value if anything happens. Now I know it isn't the nicest Excel out there, but I would like to get reimbursed properly in case the ship happens to catch fire or sink. Anyone ever had their car appraised for a fair market value and have any information on the process?
