Classic Of The Day!!

Post by rbgosling »

The LGT stand, and specifically the ex-Press car hedge find Lotus Elite, has been anointed Classic Of The Day at the Resto Show!

We didn’t quite win the Best Barn Find award, but we like to think it must have been a close-run thing.

1990 Lotus Excel SE (Lilith)
2022 MG MG5 EV (not due to be a classic for quite a few years...)
2011 Nissan Leaf (Ragly - EV pioneer, must be due to be a classic one day)

Can't see picture as it's on Facebook and I can't log in without an account. But the elite IS one of the more striking looking classics (and judges are probably 70s / 80s fans), so yes, about time. :)

Well deserved and true recognition for the team that dug it out. Well done Andy, Roddy and John.

Many thanks to all of you for promoting the club so well. Its a great commitment both timewise and expense over not just the weekend but the many hours put in to get there in the first place. Brilliant.
