headlight bowl

Post by pistolpete »

Can anyone recommend replacement headlight bowl, Ive changed over to LEd sealed units but the plastic ones I used just were not up to the job, and snapped . There seems a lot of choice looking online difficult to tell if it will all fall apart with one plastic fixing that snaps, like the ones I was using

cheers

What was the item you used for comparison?

Search ebay for 7 inch headlight ring

I don't want just another random plastic one, if someone has used one thats better quality, and hasn't broken that would be great .

Last one was

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254452167043

it relies on one small self tapping screw into plastic to stay in one piece

Hi Pete
I used some half bowls back in 2014 but my images are messed up so I dont think you can see them on my progress thread.

I am doing them again during my resto and going to use https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/355516590100.
