It has to be custard with the ginger sponge and Tracy would like ice cream with her brownie.

Thanks

Thanks Phil.
I'm still trying to reach Carding Shed /:IK classics to check how much car related stuff is visible these days on a Saturday. Maybe lunch time isn't the best to be ringing a cafe 🍔🍞🍩

As a newbie to LITP, can we expect to get any advance info on the routes, starting points, how it all works etc. etc. I always like to mark out a route / itinerary on the map in advance, and save waypoints on the sat nav if possible.

Bryan
There's usually an email with links to forms and routes that comes in a few days before event. I'd be surprised if we don't see something by Wednesday.

I believe we will be starting from the the Carlton Lees car park on the edge of Chatsworth house grounds - assume you’ve booked the classic run, so have to arrive by 7.30. You should get an email pack- there will be a form in there you have to print and sign and hand in at the briefing.
The mid morning destination is Quackers cafe -
https://www.thornbridgehall.co.uk/quackerscafe

It’s very well planned. We all go in groups of 10 with a leader who knows the route. There is a briefing before we set off, but basically there is a golden rule that you look after the car behind - so if you make a turn and cannot see the car behind you wait until they can see which way to go. Don’t worry about loosing car in front as they will wait for you at the next turning.

From Quackers everyone sets off together, but following above rules to Bamford recreation ground.

Hi everyone,

Apologies Tanz to mess up your list, but due to staffing issues at work we will no longer be able to come to LITP. Can you please cancel our food order (Alan & Tracy)- absolutely gutted, it was great fun last year.

Hope you all have a good time and we hope to make it next year.

Al.

Thanks Alan and Tony, I saw a FB post from the LITP organisers today saying that the details would be e-mailed Thursday or Friday.

Sorry to hear you and Tracy can't make it, Al, I look forward to meeting you another time... :(

You'll soon be adding ice cream, double cream a wafer, sprinkles with a drizzle of chocolate sauce and call it 'Mission Creep' and have a feature in 'Pub Food Weekly' ..
