I've heard from the editor of the magazine Alastair Clements and he is going to publish my letter and has even asked for a photograph of my car which is a result. I think if I see any other digs at Lotus in other publications that it might be worth a reply to try and stop the knocking of what is a great marque.
Perhaps we should start a campaign ?

Nice one Bash, I wrote to the same mag a couple of years back, relating to an article by Simon Taylor, likewise I got a personal reply and my letter published, and Simon has subsequently referred to it in a conversation when we were both Hill Climbing at Shelsley Walsh.
Yes I agree it is worth countering any Lotus bashing press 'if' considered unjustified to achieve a balance....
