Little nibbles today included the B-Pillar caps with a closed cell foam. Not showing the other side as it's not as good and was done first. Therefore it may be redone.

Other task today was the coming together of the nose cone. Rad cowl de-riveted; cleaned; treated and painted black. Fan motors refreshed. and rebuilt into the cowl. New Condenser for the aircon with new hoses. Modified air intake to take cold air from in front of the rad and not from the engine bay. Positioned ready to raise into place

Winner Rad and condenser lined up

Closed cell foam won’t work. The B post is part of the ventilation system to let cabin air out, closed cell foam won’t allow this, by its very definition doesn’t allow anything to pass through its structure.

A good alternative is the filter material that is used in aquariums

Closed cell foam won’t work.
Drilled it to allow airflow, but used it so it doesn't rot due to moisture

Looking good Stu, I like the cold air intake idea I've got something similar but yours is much neater.

It's been transferred from a later model. So all the mounting holes should still line up.
