Bumper Overriders

Post by Hawaiis0 »

I have got young lad working on 3D printing some overriders. They are coming along but need work on the radii.

The current colour is just spare filament and will be done in black.

Nice.
Is it just a shell that will need some foam or similar added to the inside as per the originals?

Yes just a shell with a lattice and 2 bosses to bolt into.

Easy thing to repair.
Mine were massively distorted and the mounting points were rusted out. Made a couple of mounting plates with protruding bolts then dug the old filler out from behind the overrider skin. Used builders expanding foam to fill the void and set the mounting points.

Trying to dig out the pre, during and post pics.
