It's (near?) impossible to find the correct offsets off the shelf. The original offset is ET8 .. the compomotive MO's on my car 7x17 are ET15, which is as close as they could get. This means my wheels are inset by 7mm per side compared to standard.

The other option is to pick up some decent (hub centric) spacers around an inch thick, this will give you quite a wide choice of wheels around ET33 to choose from.

Shano,

If money isn´t an issue then you could check out Image Wheels. Every set is custom height, width, offset etc. http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/

I´ll go for their rims for my GTA but I´m keeping the Lotus Oz wheels for the meanwhile.

Does anyone know of a standard wheel to replace the OZ 15" Not looking for pretty, just the option of getting 2nd hand wheels to shod with Toyo R888 215.15s for the odd track session. Writing this has made me think of the old Supra wheels? do they have the correct offset etc.,
Thanks

Hi, speak to Mike at www.lotusbits.com he will more than likely be able to do a good deal on a set of scruffy speedline 15" wheels

I came across these pics. of Eclat/Excels with non-standard wheels

http://www.comp.co.uk/gallery/pics/LOTU ... O%2015.JPG

http://www.comp.co.uk/gallery/details.a ... EXCEL_0284

http://www.ds-ami.com/myds-event-OHM2005.htm

The first pic.is the Compomotive MO1571 mentioned by Steve C. Given that the O.E.15" Dunlop tyres are going out of production (as in amarshall's recent SP9000 post) I'm reluctantly starting to think that maybe Compomotives in 16" is now the way to go. Tyre choice is not a problem in that size.

Being picky here - but that first "Excel" is an Eclat.

I hope to have some news on tyres quite soon.

So they are!

They are ET30, so I wonder if spacers are used in the car pictured in my previous post, OR, does the extra width (8.5 inch) over standard make spacers unnecessary? (ET is relative to rim width IIRC  )

Mind you, they seem a tad expensive @ £500 plus (is that for a set of 4?). If they were, say £300 for a set I'd be interested...I just need to wait until the Euro is 50p to the pound

Nice Though!

Is this the wheels that you are looking for? The picture are a couple of years old, but the car and the wheels are the same.

Patrik,

Is it OK to use your picture on our display boards at the Lotus parts fair? Looks a cracking picture with those wheels,
Cheers, Phil
