Drag Radials For Excel.

Post by Dr_G »

Though I'd post this link in case anyone was looking for some sticky drag radials to try with their Excel on track. The nearest possible size is 225/50/15 3751R - Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial Drag Tires.

On Jegs:-

There are stockists in the UK that keep these.

Cheers,

I run R888's SG compound, they are amazing, and totally recomend them...
even drove on the snow in them and they were fine (as long as your sensible with the loud pedal)

I also run Toyo 888's on my Excel and I cannot get them to let go in the wet.
The new Renault clio sport run these tyres as standard from the factory.

your not trying hard enough! if i TRY i can make them, but you have to dump the clutch at about 4500rpm!

I'm very keen on getting a set of these the next time the Excel requires a set of tyres.
