changing rear brakes

The round black things at the bottom. Hope this helps with the where to put posts problem.

Any one have any advice/lookouts on changing the rear calipers and disks? i have just received new rear callipers disks and mintex pads ahead of my new wheels arriving. all hopefully fitted for the trip to the NEC

Hello jerry, all quite simple really mate.
Take the wheel off, and look for a rubber gromit on the disc centre, pop this off and rotate the disc so that the hole is at the bottom, somewhere in the handbrake section of the disc is the adjuster, this will feel like a small cog (using a flat head screwdriver in the hole) either lever the gog up or down (cant remember which way off hand).
Once you have this done you should be able to unbolt the calliper and then the disc should come off quite easily if not a bit of a wiggle will work.
Two ways to release the calliper from its pipe without having to do much bleeding, either place cling film over the master cylinder, and/or clamp the flexi pipe before undoing as close as poss to the nut.
