High level brake light

Since I seem to be plagued with cars sitting so close to my rear end that they can't possibly see the brake lights I'm considering fitting one of these : http://shop.euromotodirect.co.uk/ as an easy to undo way of making sure they know when I'm slowing down (on those rare occasions when I do ) It avoids having to drill anything or mess with wiring.

Any thoughts ?

Last month I fitted a l.e.d. brake light to the underside of the rear spoiler on my Excel Angus.

The only modification I had to make during the fitting was to drill a single 1/4" hole on the underside of the spoiler for the wiring. The wire then runs through the inside of the spoiler, down the offside spoiler leg and into the boot. I picked up an earth from the boot light switch.

I assume you mean the wireless one that fits to the back of the rider's crash helmet (link doesn't take you directly to it), I'd have thought the method from KevW is better, with a more effective light source than the few LEDs powered by watch type batteries, and less likely to fall off/ get nicked by some little git if you leave it on the car.

If you want to fit one inside the car, ie roof or parcel shelf, I have a fairly discreet one (from a Ford Fiesta) you can have.

Buy a calypso red EXCEL, no need for 3th brakelights or daytime runninglights, it almost glows in the dark by itselves
