talked to mike today at the new brighton rally hes got them but i was hoping i could get one faster as i cant get down to him till friday cant lock the car at mo plus got raf cosford breakfast meet next sun then byms into the body shop on the monday, as fitting new passenger door beams this week :(, gave me a fix idea but the brackets gone (door lock shoved into door when unlocking :( )

Mike normaly ships the same day.....................

I dont know if you have done a door beam beforer,if not make sure u have a mate to help,it is the one job on the Lotus i now farm out.....its a pain in the RS job, just replaced myine last week.................

im doing the passenger side doorbeam this week with a hand from my mechanic( lucky he had pc probs last week :lol: ) its the drivers side tho lock has pushed through worse comes to the worse ill just take mikes advice and glue the lock back into the handle :lol: need to get it done before bym ges in for the accident repair and paint job :shock:

It's worth getting one from Mike - I did. He strengthens the lock mechanism before reselling the handle. Where you have the knurled metal retainer behind the lock which normally sits in the plastic and holds the lock in place, he drills it out and fits a larger retainer. So it's better than new...

relooking at it im going to take mikes advice and glue it in will do till after its back from the body shop then ill pick up one from mike next time im down which will be soon to pick up the decals ands odds n sods :D
