Hello lads and girlies.
Just been on the phone to the owner of a smothe track [if you google bont stagesyou will see some intresting footage ], quite a few month ago I was on about meating up for a cheep west wales weekend,there is a local hotel reopening near carmarthen early next year I think it has about 15 rooms but ther are a number of b+b's around as well. Let me know what all you people think and how much doyou think 2 night's is worth [ arrive friday chill, track/ hillclimbe saturday back to pub meal/chat a few sherbuts not to many sunday drive to tenby along the coast say goodby's about 16.00 ish ] .

Hi Eifion, I took a look at the websites, found some more information for Mid Wales Activity Centre, Pontrhydfendigaid, and it looks great. 2 nights plus track time sounds good. I've no idea what it should cost but the other web posts for Bont look like very good value. I'm interested :D Now I'd better re-build my brakes in readiness.

Hello Chris and the gang.
Sorry I have not been on line for a long time but times have been hard, I havent forgoten about the weekend i wouldlike to try to get off the ground, I did call at alocal hotel the other day, they are in the prosses of re vamping there hotel the Cothi Bridge Hotel and he is a petrol head he racees a 911 on hillclimbes [ but the exel beet him ].
I managed to enter Llys-y-fran this year it was good as for the first time I had equal compertition in the class , a MGB GT , well set up he went off into the tree's trying to catch the excel at last 1st in class with appropreate oppersition.
I'm also entered in June at the Welsh Sprint Weekend at Pembrey Race Circit that is on June the 3/4th 2011 .
I will try to log on more often things are a lot better these days and hope that all you lot out there have kept youselves well.
There are some pics on KPB Photography if anyone want's to google them then clik on hillclimbe pics on 2010 and 2011 .the 911 and the MG are on as well.

Looks like the bike engined Imp was out too (the red one on the same photo board page (5) as yours). Not sure which bike engine he's got in there but it's very quick IIRC.

Does anyone take a wider turn on that corner? It looks very steep on the inside and some wheels are airborne, so just wondered if there was a smoother quicker line around the outside (even though it would be longer)?
