Wanted SE Steering Rack

Is there anyone out there with an SE steering rack for sale in reasonable condition?

i have a rack without one track rod, i bought as a working part but never used it. two types of rack were used, constant ratio and variable ratio i do not know which mine is but i think they are inter changeable as the service manual does not tie them to se or nonse models.

Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately they are not interchangeable, for one thing the connections are different. If you look at my post on Steering Rack Woes you will see a picture of the connectors. My SA has the SE variable rate rack, if your rack looks like that I would be interested.

it looks similar, the two connectors that are giving you trouble have been removed, the ones that are threaded are in place.

SJS quoted me £200 for a full reconditioned one complete with track rods recently, I did not take them up as I only needed the track rod and inner joint, I had this one made in the end and was a lot easier to fit and cheaper..
