CELEBRATION EXCEL 1992 SELL OR SWAP

Time for a change, my Celebration Excel is now back to the spec of the brochure with correct wheels and steering wheel she has fully stamped up service book and working air/con.

She has a new M.O.T and is in very good condition, I have a certificate of provenance from the Lotus factory confirming she is car 32 of only 35 Celebration Excels built so very rare and getting rarer as not all 35 have survived.

I am a bit of a car tart, I like to buy a good car improve it and then sell it and not at a profit sadly, I usually loose money to the benefit of the next owner but I enjoy the challenge.

David I am sure I won't be out of Lotus for long, I just enjoy buying a car improving it and then starting over again and my Excel is now as good as I can get it so it is ready for someone else to enjoy and I will work on something else, I just wish I didn't loose money every time.

I did think about waiting for the Top Gear episode this autumn that features an Excel as that can only raise the profile of the Excel and in turn the values.

Just out of interest Michael, are the rims of the Celebration wheels polished and lacquered or silver painted ? I'm thinking of doing something similar with my Oz wheels but in white to match the bodywork, i.e. white centres with silver (or polished) rims.

The wheels were diamond cut and not lacquered, I am very pleased with the result.
