Speedo cable
Found that the speedo cable has come off the back of the speedo. Have removed the instrument panel but find that the cable is a little short and I cannot get my hands behind the panel to screw the cable on. Pulled the cable as far forward as I can and tried to get at it from beneath without success.
Does anyone have some suggestions.

Re: Speedo cable
If you have access to where it attaches to the gearbox then I'd suggest undo that end, reattach to the speedo head then reattach to the gearbox.

Re: Speedo cable
I found that by disconnecting the cable from the clip just in front of the bulkhead (in engine bay), that gave me a bit more travel and the instrument panel came forward enough to get my hands behind and unscrew/screw the cable
