Air con compressor mounting bracket

Post by AndyLotus »

Hi,
Might be a bit of a long shot but has anyone removed aircon from their Excel and still have the large mounting plate for the compressor?

I need the front and rear mounts, including idler pulley and cam tensioner.

I have tried Mike @ Lotusbits and he doesn't have one unfortunately.

Thanks,

Andy.

There is a chap called David who breaks cars on Fleabay - I think he's Lotuselan17 or something similar. Anyway, he had a full aircon setup 2 months ago for sale which I didnt see get sold. I cant access Fleabay at the mo to direct you to his contact. I'll try later for you

That's a good plan, I've bought stuff from him before.

I do remember all the air con stuff being for sale but since it vanished I assumed it was sold.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Andy.

Just for closure and if anyone else needs the bits, I ended up getting all the bits required from Pete at PNM. He even cleaned and painted them for me!

Whilst putting feelers out for parts it seems that Garry Kemp has them and the guy (David) on ebay also thought he had one.

To be honest I can't imagine there is much demand though as not many people retro-fit air con to their Excel.

Andy.
