Esprit has all the fun

Post by pistolpete »

Over the years the Esprit has had all the flash paint work with the Essex among others, which does look amazing. I fancied doing something with mine but can't think of anything that's been done in the past by the factory or otherwise. Has anyone seen or even better got photos of anything.

Sorry that was badly written it was late!! I have an excel but want something to match the great paint jobs that the esprits have had over the years. or like an Elan sprint something that really looks incredible . I was thinking of maybe trying to do the Essex strips and lettering maybe.

This is what the Excel might look like as a JPS ..if you have a red Excel...
Forgive the low standard photoshopping .only done for an impression not to impress!

I do have a red one and that's the sort of thing I was thinking, I can do my own vinyl lettering and strips so anything is possible

Yeah ..Gold Leaf ..I'm cracking-up!

Would also work in Blue and White like the Elans (or Yellow and White ...but not Green and White ..for some reason?)

Smoking's bad for your eyesight too.

(I'd prefer the Gold Leaf colour scheme if it had black bumpers and sills, I think - currently there's a bit too much white in the lower section and it looks a bit "heavy" - but then, I think water's wet so who am I to judge?)

I feel a show theme building here - racing pedigree :D . I always fancied a Martini Racing stripe on my BRG
