Service Notes

Post by Stephencl »

Just purchased a Excel and need a copy of the service notes, seem to be two different ones same ref number except one ends in j the other in z guessing it's release dates, which is most appropriate for a 1988 model. Thank you, going to be lots of questions over next few months.

One Lotus parts the first letter is the revision code (A=1st, B=2nd etc..) and the last letter is a supplier code used inside the factory.

Check to see which one has the most comprehensive set of additional "Service Bulletins" included. These were issued by the factory after the service notes were produced. And make sure it has all of sections MA, MH and MF to get full coverage of the electrical system.
