there are various scuffs on my otherwise respectable trim panels.
I've tried shoe stain and light grey dye. The dye I tried out came out mucky brown.
Anyone out there had a success with covering scuffs?
Thanks

What was the best bet has gone (Gliptone have ceased), so somewhere such as furnitureclinic is the best bet now.

Re: Scuffed light grey trim
I had scuffs on the door pull handle. seat side leathers and coving behind the steering wheel.
Typical nail scuffs.
I bought a Woollies kit to clean, dye and protect, and the good result really surprised me. Now you can see no scuff marks. Refreshing the dye on all leather which also brought a new leather trim to the passenger coving to the same colour as the rest was a refresh for the interior.

Thanks for your reply, yes I too have bad scuffs around the instrument coving and by the ignition and where the seat belt has scuffed the B post trim

It's quite expensive so it's good to know you had good results
Did you send a sample to Woolies?
Which kit did you buy, they are numbered, I suppose by volume of the ingredients?
Thanks

Re: Scuffed light grey trim
I bought the No. 2 kit which enabled full cleaning and dyeing (2 coats over all leather, note half trim).
There are stil some liquids left. I will supplement the sealant with Hjde Care.
Delivery to Spain for chemical liquids can be a problem, not in this case, except for the 25 P.S. charge.
A suggestion for us leather seat drivers, ....cut finger nails and cut off any rear trouser pocket buttons.

Re: Scuffed light grey trim UPDATE

I was in Italy in October and bought Leather dye for my scuffed trim.
This was

I bought "Light Grey" but this was too "white", so I mixed a (very) little black dye. This picture is of my second attempt at colour mixing.
The pull hand was VERY badly scuffed, no pics of this but previous owner must have had a very course ring. Lots of brown showing.
You can see for yourselves the result in the picture, I only dyed the pull handle to match. I have now touched up all the scuffs on the car.
