Would anyone be up for a Saturday/Sunday mini meet for breakfast here later in the year ??

Yes, Colin Pears (early Elite) found this place a couple of months ago and we'd earmarked it as a potential Elite/Eclat 45th anniversary meeting point before driving to Hethel for a lunchtime rendezvous - then we found The Lotus Festival is likely to be back at Brands Hatch this year, and unfortunately it doesn't open early enough for that!

I did try to visit on the first or second Sunday it was open as I live fairly close, and it was heaving, with lots of high-spec BMWs and Porsches, so it's definitely a good idea to get there early.

Breakfast meets would be good - I'm up for it!

Thanks Richard - I will see if anyone else responds here and also post it on the Facebook groups once I have an idea of dates.

Think I will call in myself first before organising anything - maybe in the week if I am passing.

I've been intrigued by this place too, it certainly looks like a good venue. I follow it on Facebook, and they get very very busy, to the point where they've had people parked on the road outside. If there was going to be any type of club activity there with people travelling some distance, I think we'd need some reserved parking.

I am trying to organise a meeting there for Club Lotus Staffs and was going to book a table for Sunday lunch on 18 Aug but I had an email back saying we were welcome to come but weekends are extremely busy and they don't reserve tables or Club parking at weekends. As most of the Staffs folks are retired we are going for a week day lunch instead. Agreed at last nights meeting - just got to pick a date.

This is the email I recieved:

Thanks for the info - perhaps we need to put forward that the Lotus Elite/Eclat/Excel Owners (or just Lotus Owners) become one of their 'featured club/groups' and we can then book a Saturday/Sunday accordingly ??
