A previous owner of the red excel year 1984 has passed onto me some of the old MOT's
if by chance a member of this community now owns it or knows someone that does, get in touch and I can send them on.
always nice to have more history of the car.

That reg is coming up a a Vauxhall Astra registered 1/8 83. Tax was due 1/2/99. No MOT details held by DVLA. That on my Vehicle Smart app.

Probably A277GFA which comes up as Eclat. MoT expired 2015 so hopefully just having a bit of tlc.

just re checked the old MOT's and they confirm its off a lotus 1984, and I know the guy who owned it back then
he's passed the owners handbook onto me - its unmarked - no dealer stamps or any record of any service so it could be used with any Excel from 1984 (the date given on the copyright.

I already have the original one for my excel and its fully stamped up.
So is there any value in an unmarked owners handbook?

There is value in the book. I've seen other Lotus ones for sale for £100. I'm not sure if these are obsolete now.
