Lotus Parts Sale Avonmouth. Bristol.

Post by terry »

Got this from the Espritworld Website, when I was sounding them out about ARB bushes.

The SALE
Lotus Parts – Past & Present
16th – 20th January 2007
Lotus Aftersales are having a sale of parts, for all models, past and present. We expect interest to be high, so be ready to spring into action and wind your way to Bristol for an opportunity not to be missed. If there's anything left after the event, you'll be able to order from the Aftersales area of Lotus's website for delivery to your nearest dealer.

This place is REALLY eay to find, it's on the dual carriageway going into Avonmouth from the junction of the M5, can't miss it, it's attached to the Proton spares place.

Terry,

I think this is the same sale/stock as the one I posted a while ago via this link.

http://www.lotussurplusstocksale.co.uk/

I ordered a couple of Foglights & noticed on the packaging when they arrived, that they were from Avonmouth Bristol, so I presume if you have a pike at this Website you can see what's available & save yourself a wasted journey.

Regards, Andrew

Talking to the guys from Lotus at Stoneleigh they implied that there would be lots of new stuff at this sale and the announcement said that anything left would be put on the website.

Might be worth a visit!

Hi, a little more infor on this subject

Post by Kimbers »

Hey all. Just joined the forum. I am also a Mod on the LEF website. I have a few "contacts" at the factory and this parts sale will be huge. We on LEF are all going down on the Monday because it is first come first served. There will be over 50 of us having a casual meet there so we aim to make it an event.

This has basically come from a reorganisation at the factory where Neil Lovelock had been tasked with helping out the "classic" car owners and at the same time getting rid of a million pounds or so's worth of obsolete stock they found during the reorganisation (it's a long story).

Please note that many of these parts are obsolete and when they are gone they are gone!

I was at Stoneleigh helping out on the Lotus stand and I know that they have brand new Excel wheels hugely discounted and many other Excel parts. The situation is that NONE of these parts have been available at these prices up to now. Attendee's get first choice and then and only then will e-orders/telephone orders be picked from what is left after the weeks sale. So it's in your interests to go down. Also, limited tours and merchandise will also be offered. Hope that helps and we hope to see you down there.

Just a thought, it looks like there's going to be LOADS of people, and as I remember it, there's nowhere to park. The Costco up the road may be an option, but I should get their early!!!
