The Lotus Grand Tourers

In the end I found a couple of plastic pipe fittings with screw-on end caps from a local plumbers merchents which just about squeezed into the rubber pipes.

Hey guys, I have been working on getting my lights to go up and down and noticed the plywood nose cone support panels are quite rotten. Seems from TAR's quote they should be repaired. The links in this thread are broken. Any advice on how to replace them? I am happy to fabricate them and fiberglass them back in. Did anyone find a pattern? Cheers.

Thanks Neil, Both very helpful links. I started this by trying to fix my light pods when I found the rotten plywood. I can see from the photos that a previous owner has removed the original pod motors and mechanisms from my car and replaced them with linear actuators with a 6" travel. These seemed to work previously but as it was a DIY hack I now have to figure out how they were supposed to function. cheers
