A good choice.

OK if everybody is fine with the 8th I will book a table for, say 1pm? We normally all get there shortly before 12 noon as the carpark is quiet at that time and we can all park up together and be car people for an hour

High guys, apologies for not joining post sooner but this year seems to be flying by and last trip out was Silverstone Classic the other week, on Sunday only 2 Excels on Club Lotus Stand.
Apologies for possible hijack, BUT on that Sunday 8th Sepetember only 4 miles down the road from Kingsworthy on the A272 at Cheriton, is the Hinton Arms pub and on that Sunday each year is held a Sunday meeting similar to the Fathers Day meet at Liphook.
The event is very well supported with a large selection of cars trucks and tractors plus bikes. The Landlord puts on a Bar B Que Ox Roast,
live music marques on the lawn, todate I have been for the last 4 years and has been a good event http://www.hintonarms.co.uk/events-diary. No need to book just turn up enjoy and leave.
More details are on the Hinton Arms Cheriton web site.
Let me know your thoughts,
Apologies for late thoughts
Regards
Robert

Here's another poll to vote for meeting either at the King Charles Pub, or the Hinton Arms Pub as suggested by Robert.

Please type your name into the box, then tick which location you'd prefer. Thanks.

I have no preference, so I voted for both. Either would be fine with me.

That sounds cool to me Robert, I presume we'd need to arrive reasonably early though?

Its one of those meetings where cars start to arrive mid to late morning, would think to arrive sort of close to midday will be fine, if one arrives earlier then there are plenty of vehicles to view and people to chat to. A bit of background history to event, the Landlord is a bit of a car enthusiast with a large field at the rear of the pub. The Alresford Show is always held on the first Saturday of the month and for a long time frowned on cars being exhibited, so the landlord as a charity event suggested that on the Sunday the day after the show his field could be a meeting place for local car enthusiasts and it has grown every year since.
