The Lotus Grand Tourers

The Postcode for the Selborne Arms pub is GU34 3JR. on the B3006.

If you are coming from Alton direction it's on the Right and if you are coming from the A3 Liss direction it is on the left.
Turn in beside the pub (to the left of it) and into the car park behind it. The ground is a bit uneven as you go into the car park so take care but so far I have not grounded my car there! Go through the first car park, to the right of the toilet block and into the larger second car park.

This is the village car park not the pub car park and it is used by walkers etc. At the present time it is difficult to know how busy it will get on a Sunday morning. Can I suggest a meeting time of 9am??

If I get chance this Sunday morning I might nip in there and see how many cars there are.

Guess I need to get the insurance renewed now. It expired mid-April and there didn't seem much point of paying for the car to stay in the garage.

Hi all , Its been a while since i was in that area but i do remember the one thing coming from Alton
and that was a ruddy great pole in the middle of the road just before the village, gave me quite a turn
so beware

There are traffic calming islands at both ends of the village and a 20 mph speed limit through the village.
Weather is looking OK at the moment - not sunny but dry at least!

A simple but very welcome meeting. Six cars attended which was perfect. Really nice to see everyone again. The cars are about 2m wide so one each side of the engine bay sort of works.

Nice to see y'all. Look out for me on youtube later. Peroxide blonde wasnt happy tailgating me at 70 ( ) as I positioned my self for a safe overtake, so she tried an under take just before a roundabout. She was unsuccessful, as grabbing her phone interrupted her concentration.

We'll try and arrange another meet up of some kind for September when I'm sure I'll be telling you all how great my steering feels after finally solving the issues I'm having . On that subject SJ are advertising 'genuine Lotus' NEW steering pumps. ......but on an exchange basis . I bet they turn out to be reconditioned ones, I'll find out when I ring tomorrow!.

Yes, As Mark commented, great to get out and be semi-normal for a few hours and have a good natter with some like-minded friends.

We'll definitely have to do that again, soon.
