Re: Images from Onedrive
One drive have re-formatted their url and I feel that is behind the problem.
But I couldnt get a straight answer from microsoft , so am slowly reloading my photos. one by one.
Maybe another onedrive user could lodge an issue with microsoft?

Re: Images from Onedrive
I have also now reported it to Onedrive - it is quite annoying. I can always see the pictures on my phone, but not always on my pc.

Re: Images from Onedrive
I have different problem with them, I cant get in onedrive. If it says its sending me a code to access it no code ever appears. If I use my password, which I know is correct, it tells me Im wrong, so Im stuck !

Re: Images from Onedrive
I’ve been getting that a little recently. Doesn’t recognise my correct password and only sometimes sends a code. I think I ended up getting a code sent by text and then it would only seem to come through when not on wifi.bash wrote: Thu Nov 07, 2024 07:32 I have different problem with them, I cant get in onedrive. It’s always been that way whilst I’ve used onedrive - the phone app doesn’t give the option to embed.bash wrote: Tue Nov 12, 2024 13:47 Another development, Ive managed to get in on both my phone and my laptop but it will only give me the embed function on my laptop. Its sending me do lally tap.

I have done it on my iPad, but this has to be done through a web browser, not the app.

Re: Images from Onedrive
The other day, I produced an aid memoir to guide me now and in the future with inserting photos into the forum. I would like to share this with you. Will this work for everybody?
Generating the URL
1:- Enter “OneDrive” into Google
. 1a select this option
2:- Sign into your Microsoft account
3:- Microsoft gave me an extra question
4:- Locate the file where the photos are
. 4a select the required photograph
5:- Embed—found in the ribbon, or right click on the photo
6:- Generate the URL
7:- A large icon of the image appears
. 7a Select the image size—(usually medium size will be sufficient)
. 7b Do not tick the “include HTML” tags
. 7c copy the URL address
On the Forum
A:- Write your text, when appropriate click the insert image button
B:- Insert the copied URL between the square brackets
(I usually press the space bar to widen the gap between the square brackets)
C:- This is the interim process
D:- Click Preview
E:- With luck, your photo should appear

Re: Images from Onedrive
Good work Marcus.
I'm sure that should help newcomers or those struggling to add images.

If I click on the photo icon it doesn't let me embed but if I navigate to the picture using the file icon it does.bash wrote: Tue Nov 12, 2024 13:47 Another development, Ive managed to get in on both my phone and my laptop but it will only give me the embed function on my laptop.
