Hi Chris, thanks for the offer of help - give aways, interesting idea.
You are right about the cars for the stand. Come on now everyone, here is an opportunity to have lots of people admire your pride and joy.
After the wonderful showing at Stoneleigh I hope we can get a good crowd for Donington. Please remember I need to let Alan Morgan know how many reserved parking spaces we will require.

That's great, Craig.
Sorry, realised I made a mistake when I replied before. Got confused with Chris - it is probably my age.
Has anyone got new material that Chris can make into another large poster? Most of you know what a great job he has done before.

Any more ideas, cars, volunteers?

Alan

How’s about doing a poster showing the changes in the excel from release to end

Craig, nice idea. We have Spav's milestones thread for reference http://www.lotusexcel.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=1679. How best to approach putting the information together? Photos of the different model / year examples to show the developments with technical notes? Can board members provide these for examples of each model? Cheers, Chris
Give-aways: I was thinking of getting a single colour logo printed on a few hundred latex balloons. Prices work out around 10p per balloon, maybe less if the order is bigger. Perhaps a variant on the Forum logo if that is OK with Spav and Chris Hopper, the designer?

You may use, but please do not abuse the logo. If you want larger high res images please contact me.

Spav, I definitely don't intend to abuse the logo. There are several UK companies that can print latex balloons, so I'll check in with a couple to find out what sort of image they would need and then drop you a line, if that's OK. I would be happy with whatever image you are comfortable to release for this sole purpose. Thanks, Chris

Hi Alan

I can be there early on Saturday to help set up etc.. and can stay until about lunchtime if that would help. Can't bring the Excel though :( .

Thanks Pete, all help would be very welcome. Mornings, especially on the Saturday, are often the busiest time.

Chris, I'll try to find out if we have any funds. If not wemay have to rely on donations. Can you get access to Helium? Thanks for your help.

We blow about 6 cylinders of helium a week through our gas chromatographs, so I hope to be able to track down a couple of half-sized cylinders (to fit in the boot) and a regulator :D
