How did it happen on what looks like a straight bit of road? ?wheel on the grass and then pulled in by it?

I dread this happening to me, but I think my survival instinct keeps me relatively "uncommitted" without the safety gear that undoubtedly saved you.

Glad you're OK. Dread to think what the outcome would have been like without the cage and seat.....crikey!

The bit on youtube where you caption sorry to mum, dad and folk is very telling and brings home to me the near miss you know you've had.

ah well i didn’t say it was my fault...

i think i snatched the clutch on a down change and/or was on a wet solid white line...

hit a drainage ditch which was mostly clay...

game over... well for the car n e way... at this point most people can hit reset, or shout at the telly and turn the generic games system off... hummn...

and here lies my current plan... as most of the bits on my excel are race spec anyway... I’m considering throwing a "Decent" cage in her to get me back on track for the beginning of the season next year... does anyone need a nice 89- interior?
