Hi everybody !

D+1

FIL stay in his new home now
We had a good trip : a lot of pleasure to drive such a good car
Thanks to you Colin.
The only trouble was with the battery (try another one in one hour to pick up the boys at school) that fails to run the starter motor : we jump start with the Focus. It seems we have a slight leak of coolant. Will track it and fix ASAP.
Will meet you in the new owner section in a few days. I will need your good advises (which tension to apply to the cambelt with the krikit KR1 ?)

 Sorry Michel, really embarassed and surprised the battery has given you probs already. Seriously, let me know the cost of a new one and I'll split it with you.

Never mind Colin that happens with a car that is not a regular runner. Battery are so mysterious I saw one live more than 7 years and another that fails after 6 month !
That was a good deal for sure.
Hope you will enjoy the CLK as I enjoyed my travel back

ps - I gave Michel the Service notes and Parts lists (and all the spare bits and pieces I had), but I actually have a second set of the service notes - long story - but if anyone wants to make me an offer please do so or they will end up on ebay.
Did you point Michel in the direction of this site??
