If you have to take it to a garage every time you need something doing, it will be an expensive car to run. If you can ( or learn to ) weild a spanner, they are a cheap car to run for such an exotic looking car. As for how much it costs to run, Ive spent more on bits and stuff on my Ford Ka runaround than I have on the Lotus. Its true what they say, if you get it up to spec first, and then maintain it properly, its the most reliable Lotus ever made, which to the cinics is why they stopped making it.

I think this may have been the car I saw a week after Easter. It lives just 3 miles down the road from me but other than that encounter I've not seen it again!

Turns out a friend of mine lives next door to the guy who has this car. Apparently he's had it for about 2+ years and only used it on a couple of occassions. May need a bit of TLC through lack of use !
