Zot is the best, bar none. Went to the factory a few years back while in Bruge.
Sadly very hard to get in this country

Hmmm misspelt "brakes" in the pre- flight check list. Why does this worry me somewhat?

You forgot to add a teenager. Works for me with anything with more than three buttons.

Zot, Orval, Duval Chimay, Trappiste....
After that I can't remember, but as luck would have it I'll be over there fairly soon so I'll remind myself....
Tempted by a start button on the Excel myself now, although new tyres are a better idea.

The circuit is pretty simple, a 12v supply connected to the button and the coil of the relay will energise the coil pulling the contacts together.
I'm splicing directly into the ignition switch wires to the solenoid so that I can start using the button or the key. Check the manual for the
ignition circuit for your car, you should be looking for the wires labelled Battery and Start coming off the ignition switch. If you have the service notes
then the wire colours are identified. If you do not have the service notes then I can mail a scan if you PM me an address.
My 1984 car does not have a start relay however later years seem to (according to diagrams) I see no reason why adding a second relay should be a problem
but you will need to be sure you understand the circuit and that it will do no damage.
Relay should be a 12v relay and I would suggest a rating load of 60Amps also make sure that the wire that you use is up to the load.
Sorry diagram is not better, should be legible.
