Thanks - got my hands on three old ones now. One is the right colour ( green and gold ) and two are Black and gold but still look good on the car - all in fair condition but not brilliant. Will get a nice new one when I can afford it but will only put it on the car for special occaisions!
Have attached badge simply by binding a small amount of very strong tape ( gorilla tape ) around the two bolts and just pressing it into the holes - very tight fit and no glue. I think it can be removed fairly easily with no damage to the car - also I can swap badges around if I need to - seems very secure but haven't tested it at top speed yet!!
