The old girl has let me know I've been ignoring her.
Cranking but not starting. Invest tomorrow.

Well all I can say is I'm a bad man. And time is moving very quickly.
Pure negligence appears to be the cause as the Iridiums were fitted 5 years ago to the day almost. Must be a spring thing.
I have replaced the Iridiums with standard ones and she is behaving. New air filter also.
Oil and filter next.

New cam belt and pullies today. Pullies had signs of wear but overall not as as bad as first thought. Left the aircon belt off as not working at the moment, for a little more juice. MOT as well @101400 miles. Approx 118000 due to speedo replacement in the past

Hi Pete. Yes and No (twice today)

.
Think about the pullies not having any markings.
So we had a set system running nice.
Prior to removal we marked the positions. Noting the woodruf keys as prime indication of the cam position.
Irrespective of the cam markings, if they were fitted with the woodruf key in the identical position everything would be ok.
And it was so.
we ignored the markings and built as per our markings and it fired straight off first time.
As the pullies came from 2 suppliers, we elected to use the 2 'matched' wheels for the inlet and exhaust cams with the odd one being used on the auxillary.
