I Hope to be there, as long as she gets through the MOT tomorrow. Most likely on sunday. I only live ten miles away so shall be coming from home!
RobB. Please note that you have spelt Donington with an extra 'n'. Multimap list six 'Donningtons' none of which are the correct one. I would hate for you to travel all the way from Essex and not be in the right place (I see that you have not visited the show before) It was a few years ago that some people did not get to the show for this same reason.
Hope to see some of you guys there!

Yep, I can second that series of events!
My mate James did that the first time he went to see the bikes at Donington. (I hasten to add that I wasn't there and heard about it later...)

Ooops - thanks Rojo, my dodgy typing strikes again!
I could just see me standing in the middle darkest Shropshire asking bemused locals for directions, and knowing my luck it would be raining as well...!
Fingers crossed for good weather - I hear last year was f-f-f-freezing!!!
Thanks,
Rob.

Meeting arrangements (suggestion)
Saturday 8:30-9:00 (as last year) with convoy at 9:30
Sunday 9:00-9:30 with convoy at 9:30 (?). Given posts on other fora I think Sunday could be fairly busy.

I'm coming down to Donington for the weekend with my brother in law who's flying over from Norway. We'll drive the Excel down from Aberdeen to Edinburgh airport where she will be left all alone in the secure parking area, no doubt feeling sorry for herself.
Hopefully I'll meet some of you during the festival!

Edinburgh to Donington is no real distance at all - go on, bring it the rest of the way. You know you really want to

.... err, if I turn up at 8.30am can I join the convoy in my Nissan Primera

.... or hitch a lift......
I am around for Donington the whole weekend, but with my other half so I will have do some other non-Lotus things in the area so that she doesn't get too bored.
She will have to walk home too as I need the space in the car for parts

Unless something (really) bad happens I'll be there on Saturday but not early enough for the convoy. Any ideas where I'll be best to park?
I'll find the stand and say hello. I'd also be happy to help out on the stand for a while - many hands make light work - our something like that!
Chris - you could be in a lot of trouble for that last comment!
I'm bringing my other half as well....thinking....plan.... send them of together to do girly stuff?! Err what girly stuff will there be?
