Good pictures again Phil. You have uncovered the mystery of the men on the floor in the earlier pics! They were looking where Alan had hid the custard tart! It's balanced on his front tyre! :P

The custard tarts are plastic ducks. Competition for kids to find how many ducks are hidden on the stand :D

Terrific pictures as always Phil. Thanks.

Who did get the custard tart?

I can't believe they put you lot so close to the bar but you managed to stay on the stand - that's dedication 8)

Just taking a look at the pictures, indeed anyones pictures from that day, did anyone else think it keeps getting darker each year? I swear soon they will issue those SWAT night vision goggles shortly. Are the exhibitors allowed to put down any kind of floor covering to brighten things up (seem to think some used to) or is that a health and safety "tripping hazard" that requires 10 squillion pounds liability insurance?

The floor is very dark. You can order carpeting but that is not cheap (other post refers).
The Volvo Owners Club had a terrific wooden floor, supplied by Volvo.
Angus nearly managed to get us some flooring this year. Cost ......

Transport was the problem - it's good stuff but a bit bulky. It needs its own van!

Now, if we had a member who was in the carpet business...

Perhaps we should get a Persian rug or two - was it Yes who used to tour with a couple of roadies whose job it was to care for the rugs used on stage?

The Lotus Forums' stand next door was very dim as their theme had been "black cars" and it really was chameleon-like. I actually walked past it twice without seeing them.

Would anyone like to help out the Sporting Bears with their Dream Rides this year ? It might be nice for us to be able to send people over for a ride in an Elite, Eclat or Excel if they're interested.
