For sale is my 1987 SE in Glacier Blue.
I've owned the car for just over 6 years and it's been great, but I've bought a few more cars since and can't seem to find the time to drive it.
Milage is 83,615, about 77,500 when I bought it.
Have done basic maintenance myself in my time of ownership including regular air filter, oil and filter changes with VR1, gearbox and diff oil change, complete fuel filter change, ignition coil, carb 'o' rings, distributer cap, rotor arm, brake and clutch fluid, exhaust back box rubbers (thick ones from Halfords that if lubed well last for ages) and second hand rad fan and new battery.
Has had 2 cam belts, one on 7/2011 at Track Torque and one on 5/2013 at Pure Lotus, so it does need a new belt.
List of mods include new radio, speakers and aerial, headlining in dark blue wool, leather sun visor covers, poly roll bar bushes and Avo coil overs from Lotus Bits, OZ wheels came with the car but not standard, spare is different.

Recent work over the winter includes New front springs (one had broken) new bushes for shocks, new oil and filter (UFI filter , builds oil pressure quicker than most) new gearbox oil, instrument binnacle retrim in headlining wool (not a great finish, but better than the leather that had shrunk and peeled off), new thermostat and air filter. Also fitted an oil catch can to stop the air filter getting soaked in oil, this can be taken off if needed.
As always here's the bad points,
Smell of fuel in the boot, 6 year old Toyo tyres have plenty of tread but have started to crack, slight oil leak, slight rust of window frames, throttle cable did break at the pedal end, AA gave me a fitting to put on the end that clamps the cable and hooks onto the pedal. Could probably do with replacing but the fix has worked for about 4 years. Passenger door mirror doesn't work, airbox purge pump doesn't work. Body work and interior is original and in small places shows it's 30 year age.
Sorned at the moment but was MOT'd last month.
