Do you think it would fit an Elite, or is it a specific fit for the Excel only?

Also tempted if it fits an Elite - but Pete's first in the queue! Perhaps you could post a picture of it fitted to the Excel then we could see.

usually the Specialised covers are tailor made, so wont probably fit the Elite. They just differ from MY to MY and dont fit, if different back spoilers are mounted.

Very good quality and worth the invest in my view.

Sold to Graham who was first out the blocks to PM me.
I can recommend these covers, quite substantial fabric. A very good fit to the car so minimal billowing in high winds. I would say its made to fit an excel SE but would go on a Eclat but not Elite.
It is breathable so any condensation vaporises out.
I think its a very good cover, as it should be at that retail price!

OK, thanks for that. Mine will be in the garage most of the time this winter being restored, but may look at these again in the future.

Not really aimed at this example but Just a tip for anyone with an outside cover, if its a decent day take it off to air off properly a bit then put it back and during this check the inside of the cover to make sure its still sound. If you leave them long term covered and the damp gets in they can become a sweat bag and can be worse than leaving them exposed. Just from experience !!!
If you want to check how 'breatheable' a cover is pour some water on the inside and see how much makes it through.... you will be surprised.
