No chance on OEM size - no longer in production.
Only day/track R888s are available to mind.
205/55/15s are usual swap
Rears can go up to 225s but you may rub on fronts

I use toyo 215 45 15 t1r. And i love them. The difference for the speedo is not an issue. Do a search there should be loads on here about them

205/50/15 here. Plenty of choice in that size and it hasn't affected my speedo at all - according to GPS it's bang on.

205/50/15 Bridgestone Potenzas are very good too.
Have used 205/50/15 Toyo T1R - which were very good when new.
NB: .. I made the mistake of under inflating the the T1Rs, which contributed significantly to wear on their very square shoulders (Potenzas are more rounder shouldered in comparison). In anycase, modern tyres need more pressure than that recommended by Lotus for the original Goodyear Eagles because they have stiffer side walls meant for heavy modern cars. people carriers, SUVs etc.
I like the idea of the smaller diameter 215/45/15s though ... lower gearing always benefits driveability and so suits the nature of a high revving 912.

I last bought 215 50 ZR15 from a German site, unfortunately I can not find the invoice. They were Dunlops only a couple of months old, not to everyone's taste, and cost around £120 per tyre. Kamskill tyres up north maybe worth a try assuming they are still in business. Enjoy the search!

One other quick note - you don't need Z rated.
V (149 mph) is sufficient.

Uniroyal Rainsport 3, with shark skin technology for that extra bite! Stick to the road like glue, wouldn't use anything else. Use 205/50/15 forget 215 I gave up looking unless you want to spend loads of money.

Seconded. I've been on Uniroyals for most of this year. They're coping well with the mudslicks on the roads around N. Yorkshire at the moment.

We have the Uniroyals too. They seem very good.

I think these tires have been the last in the world.
I tried to buy it a few months ago, from a German site. They told me they were sold the day before. Now I understand who bought them
I have found 4 new in Italy, 2 dunlop and 2 bridgestone but unfortunately they have a few years
I had to buy it because Italian law does not allow the change of tyre size.

This is in the u.s., so they are DOT approved. If that helps?
These are all season, is that a consideration?
If not, there is also a performance version, slightly more dinero.
Not sure if Amazon will ship but they have some other options too.

Bill - seems they are H rated so beware of that for insurance purpose (if that matters in US?).
Being all season it's likely they will wear more quickly. Anyway, that's what I found with Vreds all season on our rear drive SMART Roadster - had to change the rears every year due to the rapid wear.
