Lotus Excel SE gear knob

Hi, I am looking for an original round black leather gear knob for a 1987 Excel SE. I have the round bit with the gear pattern which sticks on top?

Were those round? I thought the leather ones were teardrop shaped? I have one of those somewhere if its what you are looking for?
