After all the rain at Chatsworth, of biblical proportions....
There's a pubble in the passanger footwell.
Found where it's getting in, bottom of door seal.
Does anyone have the Woolies code for the main door rubbers??????
Thanks in advance
Dave

While you are at it, also check the seal of the wiper arm and the windscreen seal as well...

Hi Dave,
Fingers crossed it fixes your problem - the slightly larger collapsible bead of the 266A should definitely keep out all that pesky rainwater!
This of course means you can now drive the Excel in all weathers without wearing a 'wetsuit'!
Er, I couldn't help but notice that you didn't exactly say "which" Sunday you'd promise to do the painting...?
Cheers,
Rob.

Seals arrived today, excellent service from Woolies. I only ordered them yesterday.
Its the Excel Sunday morning and the Italian GP on the afternoon.
Guess that wipes out this Sunday for decorating.

Hi Dave - Good to meet you last Saturday. Are you planning to use any mastic to "bed" the seals, or just a push fit?

Seal on.
7m does both sides.
Bring on the rain
Nice benefit is really tight fitting doors now.
Should just about kill all the wind noise and the rattle on my door when it sometimes bounced on the latch.

Hi Dave
Can you let us know if it does stop the wind noise please,( it's one of those really irritating things.)
I used regular draft excluder tape around the window frame which helped, but looks silly!
Cheers

The first thing that helped on mine was to fit Esprit out seals on the door window frame chanels.
Think Chris Ferreday posted that on the other forum a couple of years ago. That helped a lot.
Once I get the back tyre replaced I let you know how this improves things

Hi
Just ordered my seal. Did you use any sealant in the channel as well ? Or was it a tight enough fit on its own ?

Used a black mastic in the seal channel before fitting.
