Great to see the Press Release - I am pleased to share with you the price list of both the Eclat (1st April 1998) and the Excel (1st Oct 1982)

The price of the Excel when compared to the out going Eclat, before options went down from £14,896 to £13,787 - A 7.5% reduction - If one compares this to the Elite, then it was a 12.6% price reduction.

Power steering was an option on both cars.

I wonder how many people bought the 4 piece luggage set?

I must admit when Im being serious I refer to the body as composite. When Im not being serious I say its not a proper car its only plastic.

That’s great Marcus - important context! The Eclat price list is also 1982, not 1998!
