The Lotus Grand Tourers

I'm currently trying to sort out the cooling system on my 84 excel, and the previous owner has done some questionable things to the cooling system.

They relocated heater valve to be under the bonnet, and I'd like to put it back into the interior, as it was from the factory.

Can I ask has anyone done this, and if how easy is it to get to the heater matix as I'll need to remove the hoses from this to do this job, thanks

Post 86 is a dash out job, I would guess yours is similar .

I'll add dash removal to my todo list, but I need to finish getting the engine back together first!
