Coil Capacitor Information Needed

‘Just replaced a faulty coil and found the remains of what RD Dent manual diagram lists as a ‘Capacitor, Coil’ fitted to the coil bracket, but cannot see which terminal, -ve or +ve, it connects to on the coil as the wire is long gone.

Can someone tell me please.

Also, I think I ended up buying a capacitor which fits inside the distributor. Are the 2 interchangeable?

It’s on a S2.2 Eclat with electronic ignition.

The capacitor on the coil is to suppress interference for the radio. I think they tend to be fairly generic (but different to distributor one).
They were normally fitted to the +ve terminal.
